Cutting Fabric on the Bias

Cutting a binding on the bias allows you to bind around curved edges more easily since the fabric will stretch. I use it all the time on clothing and even used it on a quilt that had a scalloped border. 

  I learned this awesome technique at quilt group and thought I'd share.
Be sure to start with your fabric Right Side Out with the selvages at the top and bottom.

Oh my gosh! I cant wait to try this! Making bias tap is no fun and I have tried a few methods... Maybe I will work on the table runner I have been putting off. Thanks for the tip!
