Kid's Tote

After being warned by our neighbor that an 8 foot snake is living in our conjoined yards, we hid out in our house for few days.  I started to go crazy as did the children, so we've been heading to the pool and the lake and park a LOT lately.  Alfie always has a fistfull of toys or treats for me to carry, so I jumped online and found this kid's tote pattern here.

This was so super quick and easy and only took about an hour to complete.  The finished size is
8 x 10 x 4 inches. Perfect preschooler size :) It would be a darling gift with pool toys in it.   Only one word of warning : be sure to cut your pocket fabrics the right way so you're pattern doesn't end up sideways like mine. Oops! The 16.5 in. measurement in up and down and the 14.5 in measurement is side to side.

Have fun!

  2. Super cute! Love the combo. I had that same green polka dot fabric, which I used to make some stuff for my daughter.
