Crochet Ric Rac

can you believe this? I'm am so in love. What an absolutely adorable way to embellish clothes, quilts, paper crafts, headbands, pillows, or anything really.   You can crochet this ric rac with any yarn, to make it in different sizes.  Be sure to follow the washing instructions on your yarn so your work won't get ruined!
You can attach this ric rac with a sewing machine down the middle in a straight stitch, but with this I would suggest tacking it on by hand.
Here is the pattern for all you crocheting fools out there:

1. First Cluster-ch 4, 3 dc, ch 1, dc all in first ch made; ch 3, turn
2. Second Cluster-3 dc, ch 1, dc all in ch 1 sp from previous row; ch 3, turn
3. Repeat "second cluster" until you accomplish your desired length, then fasten off.

abbreviations:
ch: Chain
dc: double crochet
sp: space

for those of you who don't crochet or would just rather buy it, we will be selling it in our quilt store very soon.  I'll let you all know when it's available online  :)

Wow! Very cute! I am in a newbie crochet group and your instructions look like "greek to me" but our instructer will know what it means. I love this look and will get her to teach me how to do it. Thanks for posting!

Super cute! At first, when I read the first line, I thought it said husbands (instead of headbands)! LOL! Great idea, thanks for sharing it!
