What I Wore: Halloween

It's fun to have a husband that goes along with your crazy ideas.
When I told Steve I wanted to be a "Desperate Housewife" and for him to be a dead husband, he didn't bat an eyelash.  I wish we had taken more pictures, so you could see how this butcher knife was sticking out of his chest all on its own.  When I told him it was time for makeup, he came in and sat right down like he'd done it a million times before.
This was a last minute costume decision, as are all of our past, present and probably future Halloweens.

I love Halloween, but  am notorious for coming up with our costumes that day of, (or the day before if we're lucky).
I'm not sure why.
I always have grand plans to sew amazing getups, and with the amount of sewing I do, it doesn't seem too unreasonable, but that's just the way I roll.

Regardless, we had an awesome night carving pumpkins (see him in the photo? Steve made sure he was in it), trunk or treating, trick or treating (minus Alfie telling the neighbor lady that he didn't like her candy) and eating chinese with Steve's Dad.

Oh WOW! You did the housewife kill the hubby costume in one day! Amazing, that would have won a prize at any halloween party! I love it! And your little she devil is adorable, and Bumblebee is my favorite, I even bought the action figure when I went to walmart one day...I couldn't help it he stole my heart in the movie! Great costumes!

You've made my whole day, once again, Annie.

I also just discovered something with the new format that Blogger has instituted with the photos...when I clicked on your grouping, it took me to that page with the black background that stays the same size as the blog photo, sadly. In the left hand corner, there is a white line that says "Show Original"...when I clicked on that, it took me to your photos in the old white background format, AND I COULD CLICK AGAIN TO ENLARGE THEM!!!!! HOORAY!

Have a great day, Annie...thanks for the smiles!

i still remember when you were a Mexican in kindergarden and had that gigantic sombrero that my mom had to keep in the trunk bc it was too big for the back seat.
