Block of the Month Club

If you new years resolution was to finish a quilt or even to just learn how to quilt, then you'll be interested in this. I'm starting a Block of the Month club at my home 1x a month, where we'll eat yummy food and learn how to sew a new block. after 12 months we'll all have enough blocks to complete a quilt.
If you're local to utah and interested you can email me here for more info, if you'd like to participate, but don't think you're man would be down with you flying here once a month :) Fret not, I will post the new quilt block with a tutorial here on the last friday of each month. I've also added a page at the top of my blog  where any post relating to Block of the Month will be viewable.

 Here's what you'll need:

10-16 coordinating fat quarters (I always buy more for variety)
1 1/2 yards of background fabric (white or other solid)
Sewing machine, Rotary cutter, Quilting Ruler, Cutting mat and other basic sewing supplies

Sew Obsessed is offering 10% off any online purchases for those participating: Use Coupon code: BOM
They've got a great selection on fat quarters and fat quarter bundles to make your life a little easier.

Check back on the 27th of January for our first block!!
xoxo,
Annie

Sounds like lots of fun Annie! I like the idea of a block a month and so a quilt by the end of the year! I wonder if I could fit that in sometime... I like the idea of quilting, but couldn't do too much in one go - this would be perfect! Hope you get lots of people to join in!

Thanks for linking to a Round Tuit!
Hope you have a fabulous week!

I love this idea! I have one question though, what size will the finished quilt be?
